Weight Management
A Level Up provider can discuss your weight-related health goals and help you understand options that may be appropriate for you.
Common Concerns We Can Help With
Weight management visits may include discussion of: • Weight-related health goals • Nutrition and activity habits • Medical history related to weight • Medication evaluation, when clinically appropriate • Ongoing monitoring and follow-up Whether medication or another approach is appropriate depends on your health history, goals, and your provider's clinical judgment.
What a Virtual Visit May Include
Your provider will review your health history and weight-related goals, and discuss nutrition, activity, and other factors relevant to your care. Treatment recommendations depend on your symptoms, medical history, available examination findings, and provider judgment. Medication is not right for everyone and is only considered as part of a broader plan, alongside lifestyle changes — never as a first or automatic option.
What Your Provider May Review
Your provider may review your medical history, current medications, prior weight-management attempts, and relevant labs, then discuss whether medication evaluation makes sense for you as part of your overall plan.
When In-Person or Emergency Care May Be Needed
Some conditions may require laboratory testing, imaging, an in-person examination, urgent care, or emergency evaluation. Certain health conditions and lab work may need to be evaluated in person before starting or continuing weight-management medication. Seek emergency care for any severe or concerning symptoms.
Virtual urgent care is not intended for medical emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
